The supermodel Claudia Schiffer is back on the stage! At 43, she was invited for Dolce & Gabbana Fall / Winter 2014 campain, along with the models Bianca Balti, Vittoria Ceretti, Nastya Sten, Kate B e Eva B. 
One might not share my opinion, but in some photos I have the feeling she was placed in there throught photoshop, as she doesn´t fit... 
But, at the end, it´s Dolce & Gabbana and is fabulous!

I Wish - Louis Vuitton by Karl Lagerfeld to Celebrate LV´s 160th Anniversary - The Icon and the Iconoclasts

Karl Lagerfeld  has been asked  to give his interpretation of the signature LV monogram for a series of bags to celebrate the label's 160th anniversary. 

Also the designers Marc Newson, Christian Louboutin, and Rei Kawakubo, photographer Cindy Sherman, and architect Frank Gehry are also taking part in this project project - called The Icon and the Iconoclasts - and, as the bags will only be available for a matter of months, they will no doubt be in high demand. 

These must-have bags will be priced between €2,000 to €4,000 and will be available in mid-October. Almost sure all of them will be collectors items in the future. So, if you are a LV´s fan, don´t forget to save the date and prepare yourself for the event, as many of these "iconic" will sold out in a blinking!

By being a movie star and one half of a perfect couple (with Brad Pitt),  what she wears is always notable. She doesn’t always carry handbags (usually because she’s also carrying children), but when she does, she’s faithful to Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent.

I Wish - An Ode to the Extreme Thinness

You are looking at a mannequin with protruding ribs, from a "La Perla" store in NYC. The controversy erupted on Twitter, with people saying "This is just irresponsible and harmful. Too many young girls already have low self esteem and body image issues.’"

La Perla replied by saying "We are in the process of redesigning all La Perla stores with a new concept image and the mannequins that are currently displayed in our US stores will no longer be used. We appreciate and value everyone's comments, thank you for bringing this to our attention." Well, I wonder if this was a marketing maneuver, to have everybodytalking...

Anyway, I ask myself: if beauty comes in all sizes, why does fashion does odes around skinny (in the old days it was about plump girls...)? Why are no skinny models not called just models, but plus-size models?
